Day Care Jobs in Demand

by Amit Sharma.

The term day care is the American name for childcare. Day care also refers to care of the child by someone other than the parents or someone from the child’s immediate family. Children, till the age of three or before they begin to go to school, require supervision and are dependent on adults for their daily needs.

Whether it is childcare as in the United Kingdom and Australia, or day care as in America, it is generally provided in crches or nurseries. Parents drop their kids in the care of crches and nurseries before they leave for work, and pick them up in the evening after work. Generally, these crches are run by individuals in their homes. However, if they get more children, they move into bigger premises and in a specific childcare facility.
