There are many kinds of sales job, which differ by company, product, field or industry. Although sales work varies from industry to industry, in its most basic sense, a sales position involves persuading prospective customers to buy your product or service.
The individual involved in this kind of work is called a sales agent. More specific variations of the job are business managers, sales managers and transaction brokers. These are the people that companies depend on to bring them profits. They close the deal and sell the product for the company.

We hear all of the time that university graduates are returning to college to further their educations or enter into a new degree field. It seems that the days of sitting in a classroom to be lectured for hours are coming to an end in some colleges. This is because they are now offering a more hands-on approach to prepare their students for the job. This allows the student to feel confident when entering into the job that will ultimately become their career.

Opportunities come to all of us, whether we recognize them or not. More often, it is “not”; we don’t see them, or if we do, we don’t take advantage of them. When starting a career, the same is true; there are many opportunities — but they must be seized. In this brief, I hope to demonstrate to our younger audience that it is greatly to their advantage to start career planning early, and to take the right approach to career planning.
