5 Steps to Revving up Your Creative Juices

If you you fall fowl of the the 9 to 5 grind, and find your creative juices waning, then you need to figure out a way you can keep your creative juices flowing, and fast!. The best way to do this is to have a plan, then follow through with your plan - every day. In this article, I will give you a five step success plan that will keep your creative juices revved to over flowing.
Schedule it into your day:
Arrange time to get creative each day. Do it in an unusual spot like the train or the shower or even right before you go to bed.
Also, when you’re about to go to sleep, don’t let your brain go to mush. You’re relaxed, which allows good ideas to start running through your mind. Use this to your advantage.
Hold onto a 3X5 card wherever you go:
We all know about the mind blowing idea jotted on a napkin, and that’s why it’s not a bad idea to always have a napkin (or an index card, or a small journal) with you no matter where you go. Letting your mind wander into creative territory can also mean that you let it wander away from your long term memory, and a forgotten stroke of genius isn’t going to do you any good three hours later when you need it.
Get up earlier for creative thinking time:
Just as the last minutes before you go to sleep can be creative moments, it is said that our mind is at it’s freshest and most creative in the mornings. So why not get into the habit of getting up that little bit earlier, and let your mind run wild with creative ideas.
Ask yourself crazy questions:
In your creative times ask yourself this very important question; “What would I do if I knew I had no financial limits, and the campaign couldn’t fail?” Then let your mind go crazy with ideas from there.
Clearly state your USP:
Make sure your businesses USP is stated in a clear and brief manner. Even if you may have great ideas, it may not address the USP if it’s unclear and ambiguous. If it’s clear, then your idea will stand out for all to see.
